1985-1987: Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, Monroe County Bloomington, IN

Hired to organize/computerize the Child Support Office for the Prosecutor along with Misdemeanor trial work. Advanced to Felony Trial Deputy, Misdemeanor Chief and then to Felony Trial Deputy in two Superior Courts. Extensive Jury and Regular Trial experience, investigation and administration.

1979-1983: Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, Morgan County Martinsville, IN

Started in an Intern Position while obtaining Law Degree. Primary responsibilities included citizen complaint intake and screening, County Court cases, Traffic Court, and all matters dealing with Child Support and Paternity, both Welfare and otherwise. After degree attainment, responsibilities included Superior Court cases, Grand Jury Investigations, and special assignments.

1977-1979: Part-time employment w/ Schneider & Co., Indianapolis, Indiana

Work involved general office work, general accounting, maintenance and update of Law and Tax Library, research in relation to law cases, and tax form preparation.

1975-1979: Police Officer/Cadet Training Officer Indiana University Police, Indianapolis

Duties included general street patrol and regular police functions. Member of the Emergency Response Team. Responsible for the formulation and training sessions of new cadets. Member of Public Relations Group.
